Play ICARUS FALLS tomorrow at the Summer Show.
Making the final adjustments to the level…ready to test tommorow!
I just hope Crytek’s DRM will allow it to run at college, and that the framerate won’t be too bad.
Our (ICARUS FALLS team) little mini-exhibition at the summer show is looking quite nice - There’s a lot to read, watch, listen and hopefully play :)
Not everyone in the game greets the Icarus with open arms.
An example of a poster that would be visible in game showing the struggle of the resistance members.
E3 2013: MGS V: The Phantom Pain extended trailer
Game of the show in terms of what was shown in-game as well as technical prowess, Kojima and his team continue to impress with this unveiling of open world gameplay and a new tone for the storytelling in the series.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is expected to arrive on at least PS4 and Xbox One sometime next year.
Re-using designs made earlier to speed up development. From afar, the camera can’t tell the difference…
Infact nearly all of this room is going back to other college projects in someway…
My entry for the Summer Show board.
It’s kind of hard to get a feel for wether or not it will work life-size, when it’s just at 4% zoom in Photoshop, but I think it’ll be pretty cool.
Running the CryEngine at the resolution required (25984x15354) was impossible, so some up-scaling had to be done which is unfortunate but as image is more about the atmosphere and environement rather than reading ‘SPLITSCREEN GAMING’ and the platform boards, I think it should be ok.
I planned to show an action scene freeze-framed originally, but in the end I thought the environments were very strong and the contrast of this secret, dark underground trainstation against the brightly lit civilian trainstation was kinda cool, and putting them in a panorama image even cooler.
