Bill Gates on Fuels

posts about graphic designers are pretty good.

"I came here to leave this comment! Being around graphic designers and other artists is like permanently being in high school. This field draws pretentious, neurotic hacks like candlelight draws moths. They want to criticize, but don’t take a genuine interest in their peers work outside of that. They care so much about appearances to the point where it stifles their productivity and creativity because they’re always so, so judgmental and defensive towards anything that appears to be a dissenting opinion. Most of the ones I’ve encountered seem like hipsters."

"They can be pretty insufferable, but generally much more civil offline (like most groups I guess). I don’t know what it is about graphic designers on the internet, but it seems like most of us forget how to be people."
